Description:RN PACU- Holding Area - FT Days - Piedmont EastsideHours are 4 X 10 hour shifts. 6:30 am- 5pm***PACU or ICU experience required. Holding area is used to for patients needing nerve blocks for Ortho cases, such as total knee and shoulder replacements. This RN will also assist with other bedside procedures, such as arterial line placement. This area will also hold all patients coming from patient units, including ICU/CCU, who are waiting for surgery. This nurse may also work in PACU, when needed.PEM Surgical Services:Sophisticated and advanced outpatient and inpatient surgical services, including robotic surgery and endovascular hybrid suite.Outpatient and Inpatient SurgeryComprehensive Endoscopy ServicesHigh volume Endovascular Surgery, including TCAR and EVAR.Three Intuitive Da Vinci Robots for SurgeryMako Robotic Surgery for Total Knee replacementsState of the Art Laparoscopic Surgery with Stryker SPY-PHU 4K Fluorescence capabilityAdvanced Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery with Stealth TechnologyAdvanced and Robotic Urology SurgeryHigh volume Orthopaedics including Total Joint ReplacementsOperating Room Extern Program Periop 101ICU level PACU ServicesRESPONSIBLE FOR: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
