Description:Our client is currently seeking a HR Generalist for a major manufacturing company located in Greater Valdosta.Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day employee relations support and performance counseling.
Ensure fair and consistent application of all HR policies and practices.
Address and resolve employee concerns or issues.
Communicate effectively to increase employee engagement and morale.
Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives.
Partner with management on HR communication, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Manage payroll processing, time and attendance, benefits administration, and compensation.
Deliver and manage training programs.
Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports.
Recruit for open positions, including reviewing resumes, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
Participate in employee relations investigations (as needed).
Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
PHR or SPHR certification a plus, but not required.
Proven ability to demonstrate leadership behaviors and partner effectively within a dynamic business setting.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
