Occupational Therapist / Certified Hand Therapist (CHT): The Orthopaedic Center - Tulsa

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90k-$105k/yr. commensurate with experience. Sign-On Bonus available.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. No weekends.

Work setting: Outpatient Clinic

Location: 2431 E 61st Street, Suite 100, Tulsa, OK 74136

Our physicians participate in research programs and use the latest technology in orthopaedic surgery. Our philosophy is to correct these disorders by utilizing the latest non-invasive options such as electro-stimulation, nutrition, new medications and physical therapy/occupational therapy. We strive to provide the right treatment at the right time for each patient. Our goal is to empower the patient with the services and education that will assist them in returning to their highest level of function. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Developing individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan
  • Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
  • Recording patients' progress and modifying the plan of care if needed
  • Educating patients and family members about the recovery process
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of practice
  • Hand Therapy experience required. CHT preferred.
