We care for your career while caring for the community.Signing Bonuses up to $20,000Pension PlanRetirement Plan Advancement Opportunities Employee Discounts SUMMARY Performs and assists radiologists in performing radiographic procedures, obtaining films of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures. .STATUS: Part-Time            LOCATION: United Memorial Medical Center      DEPARTMENT: RadiologySCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8hr Shifts, Days/Evenings/Nights, weekends on call        ATTRIBUTES2 years college certificate in radiologic technology or equivalentRadiologic Technologist experience preferred.NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) required within 1 year of hire.Excellent patient service skillsCritical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervisionExceptional documentation/computer skills and professional behaviorRESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care. Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needsDocumentation. Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient chartsDaily Maintenance. Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare roomsEDUCATION:AAS: Radiologic Technology (Required)LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE:$28.25 - $37.00CITY:BataviaPOSTAL CODE:14020The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
