Volt is immediately hiring an Fitter Fab Welder in Portland, OR.

 

As an Fitter Gab Welder you will: 

  • Verify subcomponents are undamaged and complete. 
  • Safety assemble and weld project using standard fabrication methods. 
  • Finish welds to customer standards.
  • Ensure dimensions and finish are within customers standards.
  • Communicate as needed with Shop Forman.
  • Assist other fabricators as needed. 
Qualifications:

  • Able to sit, kneel, bend at the waist and reach daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to 75 pounds. 
  • Flux Core Welding often to D1.5 code
  • Able to safety use tools such as grinders, sanders, drills etc.
This is a full time opportunity 

Work Schedule: M-F Day Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm Swing Shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm 

Pay Rate: $25-$32hr DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
