Role Purpose Statement The Power BI Solutions Architect will own the end-to-end development of PowerBI data modelling and self-service dashboards for LSG Sky Chefs North America. This role will be responsible for leading, developing and managing BI projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. This includes data modelling, ETL and connections, as well as the development and management of dashboards and integrations, serving as the SME for other PowerBI developers at Sky Chefs. Main Accountabilities •    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define business needs and requirements, translating them into expert dashboard solutions •    Collect thorough and complete business requirements from stakeholders and translate these user requirements into data and design specifications •    Design, create and maintain data models, schemas and cubes, including ETL processes, connections and gateways needed for PowerBI dashboards •    Design, develop, and manage self-service dashboards, visualizations, drill down •    Document and maintain inventory of reports, dashboards, business rules and utilization metrics •    Provide data validation and quality control mechanisms in order to proactively manage data quality and monitoring •    Automate and optimize existing dashboards and the data aggregation behind them •    Responsible for upgrades, investigation, troubleshooting, debugging and documentation for reports, extracts, dashboards and cubes as necessary •    Continually seek to optimize performance through database indexing, query optimization, stored procedures, etc.  •    Manage user provisioning and data access rules, ensure compliance with data governance and data security requirements. •    Provide end user training and prepare related materials to ensure adoption, ease of use, and standardization •    Create and manage documentation and change control mechanisms for all technical design, implementations and systems maintenance   Knowledge, Skills and Experience •    Bachelor's or graduate degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred, or similar combination of education and experience •    Minimum 5 years managing end to end Power BI architecture and development, including DAX, connectors, gateways, integrations, admin portal •    Minimum 3 years’ experience with data modelling, ETL, data manipulation •    Proficiency with SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, SSAS •    Expertise in building stored procedures, functions, and triggers •    Proven track record of effective data cleansing, standardization, and quality control •    Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights •    Experience with PowerQuery and Power Automate a plus •    Experience with AWS environment a plus •    Experience with SDLC, agile and scrum methodologies a plus •    Must be willing and able to work in a hybrid office environment, with 4 days per week in office in the North America headquarters in the Dallas, Texas area   LSG Sky Chefs is an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Women/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
