It is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package, including participation in Perdue's Management Incentive Program. A generous relocation package is also available.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform compliance testing of the Company s SOX/internal controls program, including planning, executing and drawing conclusions on the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls based on the testing performed.Make recommendations to the business for process improvements to remediate any gaps in risk management noted through internal controls testing.Develop audit work programs and enhance existing programs to execute the scope and objectives of operational and financial audits.Plan, execute, and report results of consulting and assurance engagements, including reviewing results and recommendations with management, obtaining management responses and following up on remediation efforts where necessary.Complete special projects and other reporting duties as assignedMinimum Education and ExperienceMinimum EducationBachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with concentration in Finance or AccountingExperience Requirements4-6 years in Accounting and/or AuditingExperience PreferredCPA, CIA or CMA is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in food or manufacturing industry preferred.Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPosition is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.May need to access files, supplies and equipment.Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.#LI-JB1Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
