Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated Structural Design Engineers to join the Air Dominance Engineering Teams in Hazelwood, MO.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced and Senior Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops, integrates and documents structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design
- Develops, maintains and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle
- Performs, integrates analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Manages supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals
- Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort
- Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements
- Works under general direction

- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 2+ years’ experience with Aircraft Structural Design utilizing metallic and composite materials
- Experience with three-dimensional parametric modeling using NX/Teamcenter or CATIA/ENOVIA methods and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
- Experience in aerospace materials and structures used on commercial and/or military aircraft
- Experience with Full Size Determinant Assembly
Typical Education/Experience:
(Associate, Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). (Experienced, Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
(Senior, Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 2: $75,650 - $102,350
Level 3: $90,100 - $121,900
Level 4: $113,050 - $152,950
