All scanners are 4 years or less old and accredited by the American College of Radiology with identical protocols.  You will have opportunities in several departments including Emergency, ICU, Interventional Radiology, and Inpatient.  We have a Quality Assurance Program with outside monitoring and physician feedback.  There is a new Continuing Education Resource center just for Imaging as well as an Imaging Engagement Committee that promotes our sense of community and teamwork at SLU Hospital. Documents venipuncture site/contrast in RIS per established departmental guidelines.Demonstrates knowledge of cross sectional anatomy. Knows CT anatomical landmarks and able to recognize abnormalities and alert radiologist as needed.Observes establishes departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program safety, environmental and infection control standards.DISCLAIMER: Performs other duties as assigned or requested.Job SpecificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of Radiology ProgramMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year preferred but new grads welcomeREQUIRED COURSE: ARRT and CT program completion required, CT certification preferredThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
