Group/Division
With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Tasks:
  • Assist other engineers and scientists in designing control and data acquisition systems.
  • Assemble electronic equipment necessary for system testing.
  • Handle the physical installations of various electronic equipment.
  • Create and modify electrical schematics, drawings, and documents.
  • Assist in testing control and data acquisition systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Analyze collected data and debug systems under tests.
  • Develop electronic and hard copy models, drawings, reports, records, diagrams, and charts.
  • Use specific software tools such as CAD, MATLAB, Phyton, LabView, and other for performing modeling and control.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, Electronics or in other relevant majors.
  • Hands-on experience with either Phyton, LabView, or MATLAB coding.
  • Understanding of general metrology methods and statistical analysis.


Minimum Qualifications

Requires less than 1 year of related experience
