Our Client Is Currently Seeking A Lab Supervisor With Some Experience in EHS.The Position Is Located in Bethlehem, PA. This Is A Direct Hire Role. This job will have the following responsibilities:
Supervise daily lab functions, including chemical handling, water testing, and acid-related tasks.Oversee lab equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.Conduct daily inspections, rounds, and security checks.Ensure compliance with safety regulations (including OSHA standards).Implement risk assessments (Job Hazard Analysis) for lab activities and new equipment introductions.Recommend risk mitigation measures, including ergonomics.Maintain accurate metrics for reporting to management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelors Degree is NeededMinimum of 4 years in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Good safety background in a logistics or manufacturing environmentChemical experience is a huge plusStrong personal skills Safety committee experience
