Orthopedic Surgery opening in Maine - Located in Ellsworth, ME - Portland 150m - Full-time, permanent position - Employed opportunityHospital in Ellsworth, Maine, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a fellowship in upper limb and an interest in trauma and/or hand surgery to join their dedicated Orthopedic team. Position Highlights: - Team: Join an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon and a team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a well-established practice.- Responsibilities: Focus on outpatient clinic work, partnership with local high school athletic trainers, emergency and urgent care call coverage, and community outreach.- Preferred Experience: Rotator cuff repair, total shoulder replacement, and ACL repair.- Compensation & Benefits: Robust package including student loan reimbursement programs, relocation bonus, sign-on bonus, and generous PTO benefits.- Opportunities: Leadership and teaching opportunities available if desired.- Facility: Clinic features in-suite x-ray.
