Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Manager Special Projects & M&A, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Support the 3M and Solventum settlement statement process by: Preparing month end journals, Reconciling the 3M and Solventum settlement statementsEnsuring transaction level activity is being processed as expectedCoordinate the exchange and recording of invoices by the local teamIdentify process improvements for settlement statement process via automation (e.g. Alteryx), andCentrally lead entity TSA exits by coordinating entries needed, assisting the local team with ERP setup and provide guidance on transaction flow (for example, inventory).Support current and future merger, acquisition and/or divestiture activities byCollaborate with Legal, Tax, Technical Accounting and Segment Finance on the financial impact and proper accounting treatment for transactionsParticipate in due diligence and working capital analysisMaster data set upPrepare journal entriesLead the general ledger mapping into Solventum ERPPurchase accounting preparation and push down to local teams, andSupport the business with integration activitiesYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of Finance and/or Accounting experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master’s degree in finance, accounting or related degreeCPA and/or CMAExperience with mergers, acquisitions or divestitures and related purchase accountingAlteryx proficiency: skilled in workflow design, data blending, and automationKnowledge and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JDE)Ability to work collaboratively across various functionsFinancial acumenCreative problem solvingSelf-starter with ability to drive changeVerbal and written communication skillsOrganization and prioritization skillsWork location: Remote - United States Travel: May include up to [5%][domestic/international]Relocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
