Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 1:30 PM-12:00 AMHourly Rate: $31.43 an hour + $1.00 shift differentialConagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.Schedule:2nd Shift | 1:30pm - 12:00am | You will need to be available for possible weekend workStarting Pay:$31.43/hour | Your wage will increase over timePosition Responsibilities:Must follow all Plant, Safety, Quality, and Lockout/Tagout regulationsRead, interpret and work from schematics, sketches, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsMaintain operational tasks of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring Safety and QualityTroubleshoot Electrical components and replace/reprogram VFD’sSafely operate shop equipment including Lathe, Drill press, Hydraulic press MIG/TIG weldMake and repair parts such as Shafts, guards, flanges, and pipes.Work from different heights on scaffolding, mechanical lifts, and ladders as a last resortCan obtain and sustain a forklift licenseCan demonstrate performance in correcting machine failures, preventative maintenance and in developing working relationships with fellow employees and managementAnalyze data to make effective decisionsWork with others to identify opportunities for improving machinery and maintenance systemsCan become certified in Ammonia/Boiler RoomsOther tasks as assigned by supervisor, department manager, or plant leadershipMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED – required5+ Years as a Maintenance technician - Prior experience should include working knowledge of electrical motors and industrial electrical controls, including design, wiring, and troubleshooting of advanced motor control and safety circuitsCan safely operate shop equipment including Lathe, Drill press, Hydraulic press MIG/TIG weldCan read, interpret and work from schematics, sketches, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsExperience with PLC systems preferredAnticipated Close Date: January 31, 2025Location: Hagerstown, MarylandOur Benefits:We care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role:Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insuranceWealth: Great pay, 401(k)/pension eligibility, financial wellness programs and stock purchase planGrowth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups and team collaborationBalance: Paid-time off and volunteer opportunitiesOur Company:At Conagra Brands, we have a rich heritage of making great food.
