Unlock your potential at HCA Florida North Florida HospitalJob Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Professional Development Educator enhances professional practice and the provision of quality patient care by providing evidence-based quality educational programs and activities that promote professional aptitude for nursing, inter-professional, and non-licensed clinical staff at the assigned facility. What you will do in this role:Manage patient care for stroke patients from admission to discharge, ensuring adherence to established clinical guidelines and protocols.Collaborate with the stroke team (physicians, nurses, therapists) to optimize patient care and facilitate timely interventions.Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and initiate necessary interventions.What qualifications you will need:EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: Five (5) years experience in clinical specialty (Med/Surg, Neurosurgery preferred).SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:Demonstrates effective leadership, teaching and clinical skills. Role model in critical thinking, assessment skills and evidenced based nursing care. Excellent human relations and verbal/written communication skills. Knowledge of adult learning principles. Serves as role model and resource for nursing staff and other mid-level providers. Use of technology and resource management.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Holds current RN licensure in the State of Florida or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.BLS required; ACLS and Advanced Certification preferred.HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center.
