All this, we do to provide an opportunity for a better future for all of our TEAM MEMBERS.Our Values:Scope of Position:Applies business knowledgefor the successful weekly compilationand reportingof hourly payroll.Facilitatesa positive relationship between personnel and management.Answers hourly employee questions onemployee relations, compensation, benefits, and employee services.FollowsHuman Resources practices and objectivestoprovide accurate, timely andcompliance drivenachievementthroughoutthe facility.Escalates payroll deviationsand deadline concernsas critical issuesto management.Coordinates implementation of projects with local and corporate Human Resources staff.Responsibilities:Responsible forprocessing payrollreporting and activitiesCompiling payroll process weeklyand submits reports accurately and on timeCoordinatesand processesOff Cycle paymentsas necessaryEnterscorrecting items from error report from Pay Card and Bank ReturnsCompletespayroll tasks as assign by supervisor/managerEmployee information resource for payroll and time keeping systemAnswersquestions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll mattersEnterelectronicrecordsfor hourly personnelEmployee weekly and daily schedulesand adjustmentsID badgesVacation, sick leave, etc.Assist with governmental/compliance reportingAssists in the management offiles and producing reports.Manages Employee personnel files.Creates HR reports when necessary.Assumes other duties as assigned.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job. May perform other duties as assigned.Skills andQualifications:Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Windows applicationsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyExcellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers at all levelsHighly organized and dependableSelf-starter and proactiveEducation:Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalentCollege experience preferredExperience:Minimum 3 years background experience in a packing plant with knowledge of all areas.Minimum 2 years supervising employees in a food safe environment.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)SAP and Kronos knowledge preferred2 years of experience in similar role preferredSpecial Skills:Computer skills, Microsoft excel at an intermediate level or betterAbility to read production reportsInterpersonal communication skillsPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.Office and plant setting: the plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold (non-weather related), and working near moving mechanical partsNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.Most of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant.The plant environment is wet, damp and cold (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsIf interested, please apply atjbssa.com/careersWe offer a full range of benefits including health care, life insurance, and a 401 (K) plan.JBS Prepared Foods USA is an equal opportunity employer.EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
