Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle along a specified route to pick up and deliver dry cleaning items to and from customers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Load and unload garments and other dry-cleaning items in an organized manner to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries
- Provide exceptional service to customers by handling their items with care and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Schedule and plan route efficiently to meet delivery times and maximize productivity
- Communicate effectively with the dry-cleaning team regarding any customer feedback or issues encountered on the route
- Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle, and report any maintenance or repair needs to management
- Keep an accurate log of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant data for reporting purposes
- Coordinate with the dry-cleaning facility to ensure accurate order fulfillment and to relay any special instructions or customer requests
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times while representing the dry-cleaning company
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices for handling and transporting dry cleaning

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings or late afternoons
- Basic mechanical skills to perform vehicle maintenance checks
- Aptitude for maintaining accurate delivery logs and records
- Commitment to adhering to safety procedures and traffic laws
- Experience in the dry-cleaning industry is a plus, but not required
