We hope you will join our diverse team of top people – you bring your talent, and we’ll give you the space and opportunities to grow and succeed.  We are committed to make a difference.What we offer:Competitive Starting PayPaid TrainingGlobal Advancement OpportunitiesReferral BonusesComprehensive BenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision insuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityCompetitive Retirement Saving Plans – 401K that includes employer matchEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramCompany Vehicle (as applicable)And more  What you will doThis skilled position involves installing, programming, troubleshooting, configuring, commissioning, and servicing Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control and CCTV Systems as well as other related building system products at customer sites.Including panel reprogram, device installation/replacement, resolving low voltage circuit troubles and system testing.Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.Position involves the installing/programming of fire alarm, security, and access control system panels, but will also include a strong focus on networked fire alarm systems.This position reports to the Operations Supervisor.How you will do itPerform programming on fire alarm systems and integrated security.Respond to customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshoot and repair as needed.Will be required to participate in after-hours service program.Communicate with PM on current work order status and receive updates on outstanding customer issues.Reads and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer and contract specification.Complete necessary certification courses on internal and external products used.Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.What we look forRequiredMassachusetts Class D License RequiredAt least one year of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety Systems, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems.High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.Experience with hand tools test equipment, multi-meter usage, digital analyzer and commissioning devices.Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.Able to work on and use safely ladders and lifts.Able to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.Demonstrate a high level of customer service.Ability to lead & work well with team members.Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.Strong, organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.Basic understanding of Network concepts and architectures.Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding he/she from receiving the vaccine.PreferredTwo-year Associates Degree in Electronics; Network; Computer Science or related field.NICET level II or ability to obtain in first year.OSHA 10 Certified.#LI-AD2#LI-HYBRID#TechHiring
