Job Title: Project Coordinator - Reactor & Major MaintenanceWork Location: Richland, WADuration: ContractDescription:Coordinate project teams of 1-5 members, overseeing planning, scheduling, and control of project and program activities. Serve as a specialist for specific projects, possessing detailed knowledge of all project aspects. Stay updated on new developments and technology. Monitor projects and recommend changes to enhance operating efficiency. Develop budgetary estimates.Nice to Have:PMP Certification (desired but not required)Construction Management Certification (desired but not required)Principal Accountabilities:Manage small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, ensuring safe, quality, on-schedule, and within-budget execution.Oversee all aspects of project implementation, including budget, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, work prioritization, resource loading, and work execution.Develop budgets and track costs versus budget for assigned projects.Maintain frequent interface with clients, engineers, related parties, and management to ensure proper progress and focus.Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors.Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups, including senior management.Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned projects.Support effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.Provide outage support, including OCC.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university AND one year of experience in a technical field OR Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from an accredited college or university AND three years' experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND five years' experience in a technical fieldDesired Education and Experience:Project Management CertificationConstruction Management CertificationRequired Abilities and Skills:Basic project management techniquesCore values related to human performance and cost-effective work executionBasic proficiency with computer software tools (MS Office)Desired Abilities and Skills:Familiarity with error reduction and human performance improvement methodsKnowledge of cost-effective work execution methodologiesExperience managing projects, on-line work management, refueling and forced outage management activities, engineering, or standard project management techniques
