Volt is immediately hiring for a Centerless Grinder in Gardena, California.

As a Grinder you will: 

  • Tools they should use:  Comparators, Micrometers, Calipers.  Process/skills for reference:  Centerless Grinding, fastener grinding, precision grinding
  • Buff wheel and hand tools to remove burrs on finished parts
  • Must be cautious when handling parts 
  • Smooths edges and sides of manufactured parts
  • Inspect and finish equipment parts to ensure they fit properly into the machinery according to the specifications.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

 The ability to read and write English/Spanish

Tools they should use:  Comparators, Micrometers, Calipers.  Process/skills for reference:  Centerless Grinding, fastener grinding, precision grinding
 A basic knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use.
 A basic knowledge of machine tools. 
 Capable of setting up and running parts as required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st Shift, possible Saturdays 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $ 20.00 to $24.00 DOE.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
