Then we need your help We have an urgent and immediate need for a Software Developer to join our team at a customer-site in McLean, VA.Project: The customer has a need to enhance an enterprise application to support advanced search and discovery, 3D visualization, and Computer Vision workflows. You will have the opportunity to help shape the design, UI/UX and functionality of the application while working with a team of dedicated software developers. The job will allow you to be instrumental in developing new ideas and unique solutions for an application that is getting off the ground and will have high visibility.Day-to-Day with your Colleagues:Implement new application features based on customer requirements.Work with UI/UX experts and power users to build a intuitive and well researched application.Understand the technical needs of other developers in the overall application architecture.Minimum Requirements:Strong experience with Javascript and front-end frameworks such as Svelte and ReactBachelor's degree in computer science or related area of studyMinimum 5 years of experienceActive/current TS/SCI with required polygraphWillingness to work onsite full timeUS citizenship requiredDesired Skills:Experience working with containers for developmentExperience with microservice architecturesExperience containerizing applications and servicesFamiliarity with Git for source controlFamiliarity with relational database design and SQL query workflowsFamiliarity with 3D visualization libraries such as CesiumJSFamiliarity with geospatial mapping libraries such as OpenLayers and deck.gl#cjpost#LI-Onsite#LI-RDIn support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all of our U.S. job postings. We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. To accommodate all locations, we have listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the target range for a specific location during the recruiting discussion. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$107,000.00 - $229,000.00 annually.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
