NOTE SHIFT INFORMATION: (2nd)Responsible for 6pm - 6am, M-F shift.The on-site/normal shift hours will be 6pm- 2:30am, M-F and alternating on call weekend during soup season, typically July - November.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide strong safety leadership and ensure that employee s safety is the primary objective of the maintenance teamEnsure compliance with all safety requirementsModel safe behaviors and personal work practicesEnsure maintenance personnel stay current with all required trainingProvide feedback to direct reports through coaching and mid-year and year-end reviewsManage department vacation schedules to ensure adequate staffingReview and approve timecards for the departmentEnsure overtime hours are minimizedEnsure trouble calls are resolved in a timely mannerEnsure maintenance KPIs are trending positivelyEnsure quality standards for maintenance work are upheldEvaluate the departments training needs and assist in the trainingProvide direction in the prioritization of planned workEnsure adherence to work order processFacilitate good communication with all groups in the organization25% - Lead the team to execute daily TPM initiatives

working knowledge of SAP, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).Operations experience with a strong understanding of various plant functions.Strong drive and initiative to make improvements in a variety of areas with a minimum of supervision.Strong commitment to personal development and growth.Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills - relies on facts and data.Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.Good planning, prioritizing and organization and multiple prioritizing skills.Physical Activities Required - The physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
