Main Ingredients of the Job: As a
US FOODS® REPACKER
you will be responsible for...
Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization
Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump) Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.
Properly record all dumped product.
Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Starting pay: $19

What you bring to the table
Education/Training :
High School Diploma/ required
Related Experience/Requirements:
Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to work independently.
Safely operate electric pallet jack.
Good communication skills - written and oral.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Must be dependable.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $19 and $24As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality, freezer premium.
