Opportunity to participate in a project with direct impact to the Dawn Distribution NetworkWork Eligibility & Travel Requirements: This is a full-time internship that requires to be on-site at the Dawn Foods Kansas City Distribution Center.Interns will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Jackson office from May 19 - May 22 for onboarding, and from August 6 - 8 for final presentations. These are mandatory participation dates for the internship program.What Does It Take to be an Intern at Dawn Foods?Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program. Must be pursuing a Supply Chain/Logistics or Business bachelor s degree and completed sophomore year with an interest in Logistics. Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards. Strong interest in the logistics, warehousing or transportation. Experience with Microsoft excel and basic functions such as pivot tables. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Oral and Written Communication - ability to communicate to all levels of team members.What Will Set You Apart? Intermediate Excel Skills including vlookups and vba. Intermediate PowerPoint Skills Ability to review and analyze data. Takes initiative and executes on tasks, while seeking support as needed.What You'll Do as an Intern Conduct research on assigned topics and present findings to the team. Normal setting for this job will be a combination of manufacturing laboratory and production floor environment. Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: Wheat/Gluten, Soy, Milk, and Egg. All PPE requirements are to be worn while inside the Plant (hairnets/safety boots/smock must be worn)Note:The level of physical effort may vary from site to site and in some cases be greater or lesser than documented here.Compensation:Undergraduate - $25/hrGraduate - $27/hr#LI
