SUMMARY Prepares and packages product manually by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
BONE FILL DEPARTMENT
Fillers:
· Takes product out of box and places it on a tray on the cold table.
· Fills product with food filling using a filling nozzle and slides tray over onto the conveyer belt through the cold oven.
Cleaners:
· Picks up product off the end of the conveyer belt and cleans each piece.
· Removes hardened filling off product with a spatula as needed.
Packers:
· Assembles boxes and prepares the pallet.
· Obtains and sorts product.
· Cleans product as needed.
· Places product on conveyer to be shrink wrapped.
· Checks shrink wrapped product to make sure it is not damaged.
· Places date stamp and label on the boxes.
· Counts finished product, packs in box and places on pallet.
· Performs general housekeeping such as sweeping and moping work area.
PACKAGING & VARIETY ROOM DEPARTMENT
· Assembles boxes and prepares the pallet.
· Obtains and sorts product.
· Cleans product as needed.
· Manually places product in machine to be wrapped.
· Places wrapped product on conveyer to be shrink wrapped.
· Places manually Vinyl bag/Printed Bag on sealer to be sealed.
· Starts, stops, and regulates speed of conveyor.
· Checks shrink wrapped product to make sure it is not damaged.
· Places date stamp and label on the boxes.
· Counts finished product, packs in box and places on pallet.
· Performs general housekeeping such as sweep and mop work area.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience
No prior experience or training.
Language Skills
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between
words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these
operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with
standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms and talk or

25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is

vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
