Have a hand in making a lasting impact within our long-standing history.As the Director of Data Engineering, you ll be tasked with establishing a data and platform engineering strategy aligned to our enterprise data and analytics strategy. Through collaboration with data, analytics, architecture, and product management leaders, you ll develop a sustainable approach to deploying governed, interoperable data products leveraging leading practices in data and platform engineering.Establish and drive adoption of data and platform engineering leading practicesDefine and manage KPIs to measure the effectiveness of data pipelines and platform healthProvide input into the ongoing maintenance and evolution of Purina s enterprise architecture based on data and platform engineering requirementsKeep up-to-date on industry and market trends in data and platform engineeringPartner with product management, business, and technical stakeholders to define data and analytics products and servicesPartner with Nestl Regional and Global IT teams to ensure availability of necessary data assets, platforms, and toolsManage 3rd party resources and vendor relationshipsChampion the enterprise data and analytics strategy throughout the organizationRequirementsBachelor s degree from an accredited college or university10+ years
experience in practical, hands-on data engineering5+ years in a leadership role managing a team of direct reports and setting and executing a data product strategy3+ years of experience working within the Azure or AWS ecosystem and utilizing DatabricksOtherExperience working with Snowflake as a data base is preferredExperience reporting with PowerBI is preferredDon t meet all the qualifications listed under
