We care for your career while caring for the community.Sign-on Bonus up to $7,500Pension PlanRetirement Plan Advancement Opportunities Employee Discounts SUMMARY As a Radiologic Tech I, you assist radiologists with imaging procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures. STATUS: Full-Time LOCATION: Wilson Health Center         DEPARTMENT: RadiologySCHEDULE: Open 7 days a week from 9AM-9PM Weekdays, 9AM-8PM Weekends. Flexible scheduling, including three 12 hour days per week.               ATTRIBUTESRadiologic Technologist experience preferredBLS Certification preferred.Excellent patient service skillsCritical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervisionExceptional documentation/computer skills and professional behaviorKey Responsibilities:•    Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas.•    Maintains accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts.•    Maintains accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and in patient charts as necessary.•    Cleans, restocks and prepares rooms on a daily basis.•    Attends hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.•    Practices and held accountable for excellent customer service behaviors.•    Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.•    Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:•    2 years college certificate or Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent•    Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.    Required Licensure/Certification Skills:•     NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.•     If licensed after 2007 must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire.Rochester General Health System is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
