The Department of History and Political Science at Perimeter College is committed to enlivening history and political science and wholly engaging our students in the learning process. Perimeter College history courses provide in-depth study of issues, as well as the background needed to help students make knowledgeable decisions and rational life choices. Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in HISTORY who will play a key role in educating and supporting students. Required Experience
None Specified Required Education
A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline. Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Teaching experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to teach HISTORY courses on the collegiate level.
  • Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
  • Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology

A Criminal History Check is Required. Work Hours Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
