This new opening is with a leading healthcare organization as an ASC Charge Nurse, where you'll oversee procedures in orthopedic care, spine surgery, pain management, complex spine cases, and a comprehensive total joint replacement program. This high-performing center, accredited by the AAAHC, conducts a large volume of outpatient procedures. The 4 Operating Room facility is designed with spacious rooms, with eastern and western facing windows offering plenty of natural lighting, along with advanced medical equipment, and a team of positive, team oriented professionals.

The Charge Nurse at the Ambulatory Surgery Center reports to the Nurse Director and supervises the nursing staff, including registered nurses and surgical techs. This role works closely with the anesthesiology team, surgeons, and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high standards of patient care. Additionally, the Charge Nurse collaborates with department heads to address clinical concerns and improve workflow efficiency.

This Ambulatory Surgery Center performs a high volume of outpatient procedures, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This facility has 4 Operating Rooms and one procedure Room, and is staffed by a team of full-time employees, including top-tier surgeons, anesthesiologists, experienced RNs, and surgical techs. The unit fosters a professional and supportive atmosphere, where staff members collaborate closely to ensure the highest standards of patient care. The Charge Nurse will work alongside a team of exceptional clinicians who are committed to delivering outstanding surgical outcomes.

The Surgery Center Charge Nurse will assist in managing a team of Full Time RNs, Per Diem staff, 5 techs, 2 materials personnel, and will report to the center Director of Nursing. The Outpatient Surgical Services Charge Nurse will be expected to run the center in an efficient and safe manner. Further responsibilities include establishing goals, identifying areas for improvement, upholding patient safety standards, and scrubbing and circulating.
