Thursday (Overtime time as production demands) Responsibilities: Consistently manufacture
great tasting
sausage products according to specifications. Work together with & coach Formulation, Stuffing, & Smoking Members to obtain World Class results in safety, yields, and overall business costs. Lead daily tailgate team meetings by offering ideas and suggestions, challenge members to think outside the box & support team members as needed.
Coordinate and participate on project team as needed.
Using innovative thinking, set goals and objectives; both personal and as a Team Member to acquire great performance to support the Johnsonville Way Learn and gain a deep understanding of the cooked/smoked side of the process; primarily Formulation & Stuffing and secondarily Smoking. Responsible for the performance, productivity, and efficient utilization of resources. Create an environment that ensures Member involvement and implementation of Operator Drive Reliability (ODR), new ideas, and guidelines that ensure fairness to all Members. Ensure appropriate Coaches & Members are aware of problems, issues, and events that could affect safety, food safety/quality, cost, customer service, Member development and BPTW. Ensure a safe, helpful, team atmosphere, which promotes continuous improvement among team Members. Facilitate the Red Zone daily huddles in both Stuffing, Formulation and Smoking as needed.. Coordinate 30, 60, 90 day & annual reviews with all 3rd shift members. Coordinate the annual

process for all 3rd shift members. Must become fully Competent in Kronos and SAP.Experience: Manufacturing experience in a Food Industry preferred. Previous experience in leading a project, team, or team Meeting Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to function in a team-based environment. Work experiences that demonstrate the Johnsonville s Core Values, i.e., Integrity, Continuous Learning, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, and Innovation Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance (safety, USDA).Qualifications: Successful completion of all Formulation Grinder / Blender and Raw Team Leader Skill Blocks within an eighteen-month period Strong math and written/verbal communication skills required Must be able to complete production documentation paperwork accurately. Attention to detail is a must. Must be able to navigate through computer screens and enter data into a computer program. Strong SAP Skills. Must be able to work independently Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to identify CCP s in the formulation, stuffing and smoking area and maintain all GMPs Must be able to help keep the formulation and stuffing area within TQC compliance Must be able to push/pull racks of sausage that could weigh up to 1200 pounds Must have the desire to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility in the area of Operator Driven Reliability (ODR)Other: Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background checkDate: September 9th, 2024Location:
