Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is working with a Correctional facility in Waverly, Virginia to hire an Autonomous Nurse Practitioner. For more than 30 years, we’ve specialized in helping Medical Professionals find the assignments that best fit their current needs and long-term career goals. Nurse Practitioner Contract Details:

  • $78-$83 an hour*
  • 13- week contract with possibility of extension
  • Monday – Friday 8 hour Day Shift.
  • Will provide care within their scope of practice and in accordance with the standards of the facility
  • Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Please speak with a recruiter for details.

Requirements:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Virginia
  • BLS
  • Active DEA
  • Experience: 1 year of recent relevant experience
  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible
  • Corrections experience preferred but not required
  • Virginia Nurse Practitioner Autonomous license required
