Lead .NET Engineer (Devops Azure) We are looking for a highly skilled Lead .NET Engineer with a strong background in DevOps and Azure to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and deployment of robust, scalable applications and ensuring seamless integration with cloud services. Location: Plainsboro - NJ USA (Hybrid) You must be legally authorized to work in USA without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Responsibilities: Develop and support .NET APIs for data handling of web applications to downstream systems using C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, REST, JSON, MVC, MS SQL Server (all APIs) Data Collection Strategy, Data transport to other API end points – i.e. Mulesoft, Salesforce, Data Security, Data Management, Data Governance and Privacy policy within the .NET Environment MS SQL Database design and implementation Perform code review, create/review technical documentation, PR review/approvals, deployments. Work on enhancement and defects; and support testing efforts; Interact well and build long-term relationships with teammates, clients and business. Lead with the development team (onsite/offshore) to make sure deliverables are completed on time with the utmost quality. Participate in daily calls, status calls and share updates on progress. Conduct technical review calls, technical discussion, create/review estimates. Provide solutions to complex technical problems. Excellent communication skills Hands on in the Agile Methodology Should have experience leading a development team. Should have experience working in muti-vendor accounts. Should have experience in working directly with the Client/Business Stakeholders/Product Owners. Qualifications: ASP .NET Web API Core ASP.NET Web API 2.0, Azure DevOps (ADO), Microsoft SQL Server, GitHub, and Jenkins CI/CD Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 12/27/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 – $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
