Maintenance & Technical Instructor - Radiation Protection OR Senior Maintenance & Technical Instructor ***This position may be filled by either a Sr. M&T Instructor OR M&T Instructor.*** PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONDemonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and proposed modification of plant specific maintenance or technical training programs. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESDrives station and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Develops, schedules, coordinates, and conducts performance-based maintenance or technical training programs as required by user community in accordance with Exelon's TSD model, department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.Participates in station support activities, i.e. outage support, root cause support, line assessment supportAssures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports and Exelon NERs, NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices, plant design change and backfit information, plant procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.Support station and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, EP duties, and special projects.Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high quality training. Maintenance and Technical (M&T) Instructor Job Code: XKAPMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma3+years previous technical or craft Nuclear experience OR5+ years of related industry experienceEffective written and oral communication skills. Sr Maintenance and Technical (M&T) Instructor - Radiation Protection Job Code: XKAVMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma5+years of nuclear technical background OR7+ years of related industry experience2+ years in training/educationEffective written and oral communication skills  Maintenance and Technical (M&T) Instructor Job Code: XKAPPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AS/AA in science/engineering5+ years of nuclear power plant technical experience in the applicable discipline instruction OR10+ years of related industry experience in the appliable discipline instruction Sr Maintenance and Technical (M&T) Instructor - Radiation Protection Job Code: XKAV PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAS/AA in science/engineering or equivalent experience7+ years of nuclear power plant technical experience in the applicable discipline instruction OR10+years of related industry experience in the applicable discipline instruction5+ years nuclear training experience
