Alexandria, Louisiana - OB/Gyn Hospitalist Director

    • Looking to put your leadership abilities to good use? This hospitalist program provides an opportunity to further your career by serving as a medical director for our existing OB/Gyn hospitalist program in Alexandria, Louisiana
    • Medical directors collaborate and support the clinical team, work alongside the hospital leadership and medical staff while serving as part of the clinical team.
    • The facility medical director reports to the national medical director (NMD) or associate regional medical director (AMD), and collaborates with the NMD/AMD, senior vice president of operations and director of operations to maintain close collaboration among the clinical team and hospital leadership, and drive patient safety and quality initiatives
    • Ideal candidates will be board-certified with at least 2 years of leadership experience, able to demonstrate clinical excellence with superior communication skills, practice clinically at the designated facility
    • Qualifications also include having active and current skills in the full breadth of the OB/Gyn specialty with the skill set and confidence to be the only covering clinician in the event of an emergency, and a focus on providing quality care, placing the patient above all other considerations.

  • Organization Information:
    • Full-time 6-7, 24 hour in-house shifts/month
