Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

- At least 3 years working as NP/PA in cardiology (inpatient and outpatient)
- Hospitalist experience may count
- Comfortable independently evaluating and treating cardiac patients
- Average 10-15 inpatients/daily
- 2 per hr outpatient either independently or with cardiologist
- Experience independently performing cardiac stress testing preferred (but not required; we can train)
- Expert EKG interpretation
- Critical care experience (nursing or NP)
- Active RN and NP , or PA NJ license and CDS
- Start date determined by hospital credentialing if hired for the hospital first (i.e. will not start
- until completed application submitted-see separate document for questionnaire)
- 8A-4:30P, Monday thru Friday. No weekends, on-call. 9 paid holidays, 4 weeks PTO, 1 week
- sick/personal, 5 CME days, $3000 annually
- Contract after 3 mo probationary period includes restrictive covenant - 1 year, 2 mile radius
- Reports to the Director of Operations, who also is an APP
- 8A-4:30P, Monday thru Friday. No weekends, on-call. 9 paid holidays, 4 weeks PTO, 1 week
- sick/personal, 5 CME days, $2500 annually
- Malpractice and gap coverage provided
Candidates with active RN and PA New Jersey license preferred.
