What you will do in this role:You will oversee nurse staffing and ensure that there is the appropriate number and type of nursing personnel to care for the number and acuity of patients. You will review patient care daily, visit patients regularly, making suggestions to improve care and become involved in the care of selected patients. You will demonstrate an understanding of the budget process and staffing plan, implementing cost-effective strategies in staffing and supply management decisions. You will participate in the monitoring, coaching, evaluating and disciplining process. You will ensure the timely admission of patients from the Emergency Department, Surgical Services, Direct Admissions and the Access Center.You will respond as patient advocate during off-hours to patient concerns and report these interactions to the Patient Advocacy Department.You will respond to all CODE/RRT situations throughout the facility.
