Primary Function:
Responsible for US/Canadian Warehouse & Break station finished goods replenishment planning.
The replenishment planner manages the inventory & products process outside of the US/CA manufacturing plants - determining what to order, how much to order and when to order finished goods to support supply planning.
The role decides finished goods needed to support customer orders, forecasted demand and inventory stocking requirements.
Replenishment planners need to establish reorder quantities for finished goods, while considering supply lead time, warehouse, and transportation constraints. The Replenishment Planner will also own some aspects of purchasing from 3rd party suppliers and work with break stations that perform these activities.
Managing the supply chain from providing base material to directing tolling schedules based on customer demand. Key Deliverables

Ultimately, the role of replenishment, must perform designated tasks and responsibilities to service customers.
This is primarily measured by the Perfect Order Metric (DIFOT/IFOT)Support order promise process through review of booked orders by considering open sales orders, fixed production, inventory transfers and purchase orders.Develop and maintain break station and warehouse supply based on demand forecasts and inventory targets.Convert the replenishment plan into Stock Transfer Orders by creating and managing the process of finished good stock transfer orders from source to destination.Determine replenishment lead-time to support inventory plans to optimize order fulfillment & optimize lowest landed cost.Balance the allocation of available stock in supplying locations.Collaborate with commercial teams, and logistics and distribution teams, to help facilitate and verify initial orders and the setup of the new retailers, distributors, or warehouses as they are added.Identify possible material shortages against inventory plans, and develop action items, marshal resources to address action items and follow up on all material shortage-related issues.Manages transactional and daily communications with 3rd party product supplier(s).
As with other internally produced products, ensures appropriate volume is on hand and in locations needed to meet KPI targets.Direct 3rd party break stations in tolling activities.
Support the pipeline of base material to locations and guide production volumes based on safety stock targets and demand.Mange inventory accuracy, excess/slow moving inventory, and aging inventory by coordinating at the break stations and managed warehouses. Agility and Innovation Identify areas of improvements that will reduce the potential of inventory arriving before it's needed.Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.Measure, analyze and report key process metrics, and monitor adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) that support Customer Experience goals.Strive for an optimized network where safety stock levels are appropriate for demand levels and in turn reduce dwell times at break stations.Develop, monitor, and communicate reports on inventory to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement.Daily review of BY planning system, to identify possible material shortages and aligning with supply planner on alternative sources of replenishment to fulfill demand.Fully support integration and future improvement of automated Replenishment planning process (BY/SAP planning integration). Relationships and People Actively interact with supply management, manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and engineering to solve material issues to prevent customer order delays at warehouses and break stations.Communicate with supply management, as necessary, regarding lead-time changes and the availability of product.Communicate with demand planner(s) on variances to align on appropriate volumes for supply planning.Provide weekly updates on supply at recurring meetings, highlighting hot spots and working proactively to mitigate supply risks. Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements : B.S. in supply chain management/operations/mathematics/engineeringExperience with SAP and its related supply chain applicationsExperience with JDA Supply Chain Planning tools is preferred but training can be offered.Strong communications skills (oral and written)Proficiency using PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)Work experience in a team-based environment within manufacturing or supply chain is desirable.Strong technical skills around data management & mathematical/statistical abilitiesWell-organized and a high level of attention to detailHands-on experience with modeling, analysis, and simulation toolsProven ability to build working business relationships.Hands-on experience with inventory planning Desired behavior, personal attributes, (Success Drivers and Competencies) :The ability to translate business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projects.Focuses on both short-term results (0-4 Weeks) and annual goals (1-12 months)Communicate effectively with counterparts in supply planning and supply management.Builds excellent relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence.High level of interpersonal skills to handle internal negotiations amongst departments in meeting service level goals.Ability to influence decision makers and operational teams.Display willingness to make timely decisions.Support and explain reasoning for decisions.
