We are currently seeking an Echocardiagram Technician (Echo Tech) on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis in our Vascular Lab. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now As an Echo Tech on our team, your tasks and responsibilities include: Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to readComplete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer systemMaintain accountability for his/her own knowledge and skills, and supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospitalMust be able to recognize and respond appropriately to life threatening situationsMust be able to perform special non-invasive procedures (M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, Electrocardiogras, Signal averaged Electrocardiograms and Holter Monitoring)Qualifications: Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiagram TechniciansRVT certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationMeditech knowledge1 to 3 years of experienceHCA Florida Largo Hospital is the premier healthcare provider in Pinellas County and beyond with 455 beds and is part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare network in Florida with over 650 sites of care.
