Anesthesiology opening - Somerset, PA Located in Southwest PA, 70m to PittsburghJ1, H1b Eligible 2 Weeks on, 1 off Position details - Full-time, permanent- Hospital employee- Join a group of three physicians- Consider becoming part of a collaborative, close-knit team of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs. - Attractive package with 17 weeks off. - Must be BC/BE and have an MD or equivalent with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.- Exceptional staff of 6 CRNAs- First week is clinical with call and the second week is clinical- Bread and butter cases with no obstetrics, cardiac, head or trauma- Teaching opportunities with CRNA students- 5 operating rooms, 1 endoscopy suite and GI labs- The surgical procedures are from Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, ENT Urology, General Surgery, Dental, Podiatry, GYN and Pain Management. - 3500 non-GI cases per year and 2500 GI procedures per year. Offer - 17 weeks off- Competitive compensation with outstanding benefits- 450k plus 50k of extra shifts available- Signing bonus- 10K Relocation assistance Location Details - Located in Somerset County, which is an outdoor enthusiasts dream.- Home to three of the top ski resorts in the eastern U.S.- The Great Allegheny Passage, which is part of the 334-mile rails-to-trails project connecting Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C., runs through Somerset County.- There are numerous cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobile trails throughout the county, as well as a multitude of mountain bike trails.- There are ample opportunities for whitewater rafting, paddleboarding, and kayaking.- Somerset County is home to several golf courses, ranging from nine-hole community courses to PGA-rated resort courses.- In addition to the outdoor scene, Somerset County also has numerous fairs and festivals that celebrate the culture of the area. There are several small theaters and playhouses in the region.
