The kind of place where quality above all else matters?Well then, join the Dietz & Watson family today Primary Duties Inspects and tests company vehicles, company box trucks, and company tractor trailers.Must be able to troubleshoot/diagnose truck engine and emission systems.Utilize scanning tools.Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailersComplies with state vehicle and DOT vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changesKeeps supplies ready by inventorying stock and placing orders for necessary parts.Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.Perform all other related duties and assignments as neededExperience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel tractorsEither you possess a CDL A or the ability to acquire the license with the assistance of our trainerPossess quality hand toolsPossess flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays if neededmechanical, transport refrigeration, and/or electrical systems repair and diagnostic experience a plus.CDL B /PA state inspection license is a plusASE Diesel Certification an assetKnowledge of refrigeration: reverse and cold plate refrigeration, and Thermal King Unit refrigeration a plus Physical RequirementsPerforming physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Capability to stand in one place for 80% of the shift (8+ hours per day)Capability to walk throughout department for 20% of the shift (8+ hours per day)Capability to lift to 100 lbs. on a frequent basis with reasonable accommodation. Requires the frequent use of both hands and armsCapability to bend, twist, and squat as needed throughout the shift (8+ hours per day)Must be able to work in a Safety Sensitive Position.Military Experience Welcome
