Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Guidewire APD Lead to join the team of IT professionals in a role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are in search of an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the opportunity for you Responsibilities: Plan inception/requirements workshop schedule, prioritize requirements for sprints, demonstrate OOTB product, identify gaps and provide OOTB solutions. Conduct Requirements workshops by directly working with business SME’s in capturing requirements. Build user stories, use cases, functional requirements, wireframes, system flow diagrams, and other documentation for Guidewire configurations and Integrations requirements. Review and analyze how changes to the business process and / or business needs will affect technical requirements throughout the GW applications and other down stream integrations. Clarify requirements prior to delivery of user stories to the Development team. Be the liaison between functional leads, development teams and support teams. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions during UAT phase. Support production releases Perform smoke testing Work with the QA team to ensure test cases are current, accurate, and cover alternative paths for existing and new system functionality. Required Qualifications Commanding knowledge on Guidewire Suite of application PolicyCenter with Advance Product Designer. Knowledge on Xmind, configuration of products using mindmaps on Xmind, Product Management in Guidewire APD. Knowledge on functional areas of the Insurance business to understand customer requirements and provide GW Solutions. Knowledgeable on integrations with internal and external applications; research any dependencies and work on system design plan with solution architect and developers. For Digital portals : Hands-on experience in one or more products: Customer Engage, Producer Engage, Customer Engage, GPA, AMP, Claims portal Detailed knowledge and experience of agile methodologies. Skilled at writing detailed user cases, acceptance criteria, use cases, and wireframes. Strong background using defect-ticketing software (such as Rally, JIRA, etc.) to document requirements, user cases, defects for development teams. Experience working daily in cross-functional teams. Skilled at negotiating consensus among departments that request sometimes conflicting or inconsistent software requirements. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for the position is between $88,690 – $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
