HCA Houston Healthcare- Kingwood is a 455 bed acute care facility with Level II trauma certification, rehab unit, and Level III NICU.  $3,000.00 Sign on Bonus Sodexo Offers: Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal daysReimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewalMoney toward continuing education eventsUp to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually  This position is full time with excellent benefits and competitive salary. Work schedule will allow for day time weekday & weekend coverage.   The successful candidate will: Be a Registered Dietitian and Licensed in Texas;Conduct nutrition assessments and provide diet education to patients;Educate patients and family members as well as facility staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modification; Participate in multi-disciplinary team conferences and is a great team player; Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; and Assist with Food Service Management as needed.  Is this opportunity right for you? Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
