QualificationsYou meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...Possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another related field.Have at least five years of relevant systems engineering experience.Have a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.Possess a significant knowledge of systems modeling techniques and methodologies.Are familiar with systems modeling languages like SysML (Systems Modeling Language) or other industry-specific modeling languages.Can demonstrate proficiency in using MBSE tools and software, such Cameo Systems Modeler or IBM Engineering Systems Rational Rhapsody.Have ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions, especially in system architecture and integration.Have a willingness and ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in MBSE, tools, and industry best practices.Have excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills.Have the ability to lead, work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.Are willing and able to occasionally travel, including both local and non-local travel.Are able to obtain an Interim Top Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For part-time salaried employees, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
