You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances. Our Field Maintenance team maintains our helicopters to the highest standards possible. This is a full-time travel position, traveling via air and ground to assigned work locations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIESProvide on-site maintenance support for our fleet of EC135 series helicoptersMaintain the aircraftSchedule aircraft maintenanceManage base inventoryMaintain the base library and company owned ground support equipmentPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSEducation, Certifications and LicensingHigh School diploma or GED equivalentValid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License requiredInspection Authorization Certification preferredAdditional FAA/FCC ratings preferredThree years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience withA minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during that last 24 monthsMust be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.Intermediate-level computer skills with an inventory systemIFR helicopter avionics and auto-pilot experience preferredManufacturer training or equivalent on EC135 preferredEC135 maintenance experience preferredPrior civilian HEMS experience preferred WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTSTravel between bases throughout North Carolina to support maintenance needs is requiredGUIDING VALUES AND BEHAVIORSEmployee must consistently exhibit our guiding principles:• Patient Care - We continually earn the privilege to care for our patients.
