ABOUT THIS TEAM

Our Global Distribution DC Support functions are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain organization. The DC Support functions are compromised of the Health and Safety, Facilities and Production Control departments within our North America DCs. Based in the DC and reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, a Facilities Technician plays a key role in maintaining the physical integrity of the property, including maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Partner with Facilities Supervisor to complete scheduled and preventative maintenance.
  • Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance.
  • Conduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding immediately to emergency situations as they arise.
  • Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of material handling equipment.
  • Complete daily inspection and cleanup of building perimeter and grounds, including general repairs.
  • Timely respond to reports of equipment issues to minimize downtime and impact to the operation.
  • As assigned, complete technical training, personal development and team-building exercises.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, general mechanical trade or general contracting.
  • Skilled with power tools, ground maintenance equipment, electrical, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, paints, solvents, adhesives and able to operate PIT equipment.
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include working nights, required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime.
  • Must be available to work any shift, with possible adjusted hours during peak season. Requires minimum of forty hours per work week.
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

Typical Hiring Range: $33.25 - $41.55/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location
Target Bonus: 5%

Additional Shift Premiums: $1.00 - $1.00, depending on location

Las funciones de apoyo de nuestros Centros de Distribución, CD (Distribution Centers, DC) globales forman parte de la organización mÃs amplia de la cadena de suministro de lululemon. Las funciones de apoyo de los CD incluyen los departamentos de Salud y Seguridad, Instalaciones y Control de Producción dentro de nuestros CD en Norteamérica. El técnico de instalaciones trabaja en el CD y depende del supervisor de instalaciones. Desempeña un papel fundamental en el mantenimiento de la integridad física del inmueble, incluyendo el mantenimiento de un entorno seguro e higiénico.

UN DÃA EN LA VIDA

  • Colaborar con el supervisor de instalaciones para completar el mantenimiento programado y preventivo.
  • Utilizar el sistema computarizado de gestión del mantenimiento para llevar el inventario de los equipos y programar el mantenimiento.
  • Realizar inspecciones mensuales de mantenimiento y seguridad y respondiendo inmediatamente a las situaciones de emergencia que se presenten.
  • Montar e instalar motores de accionamiento, cajas de engranajes, correas, transportadores de gravedad, plataformas y otros tipos de equipos de manejo de materiales.
  • Completar la inspección diaria y la limpieza del perímetro del edificio y del terreno, incluyendo reparaciones generales.

APTITUDES

  • MÃs de 3 años de experiencia prÃctica en mantenimiento de instalaciones, fabricación, oficios mecÃnicos en general o como contratista general.
  • Habilidad con herramientas eléctricas, equipos de mantenimiento de terrenos, electricidad, albañilería, plomería, carpintería, pinturas, disolventes, adhesivos y capacidad para manejar camiones industriales motorizados (Powered Industrial Truck, PIT).
  • Capacidad de cumplir con los requisitos de asistencia.
  • Dominio de Microsoft Outlook y conocimientos bÃsicos de informÃtica.
  • Capacidad de levantar hasta 22.68 kilos (50 libras) con frecuencia.
