Our Retort Solutions Division finds innovative ways to use milk components to work with world class customers to develop, manufacture and package their products.  We offer a culture of inclusion and engagement that empowers our employees through training, business understanding and growth opportunities.  It takes an incredible team to deliver the goodness of our products – come join us     General Purpose: This position will supervise, provide leadership, direction and support to the Maintenance Department workforce.  This position will coordinate the mechanical needs necessary to support the physical facility.  In addition, the position will support plant project work.  Emphasis is placed on continuing to develop and further enhance the employee skill sets.  This position is responsible to ensure that safety, quality, yields, throughput and efficiencies are met.  This position directly supervises hourly collective bargaining unit employees assigned to the maintenance department, but also has close daily interaction with all employees on the floor. Duties and Responsibilities:Assure all departmental personnel are operating in compliance with plant and corporate procedures and policiesAssure that the department is operating in compliance with customer, company and governmental regulationsOversee daily maintenance operations to help insure production schedules are met and plant efficiencies are maintainedAttend required and necessary meetings concerning production, safety, quality and operationsInteract with vendors, customers and external resources as neededAttend seminars that will help to develop skills needed to improve job performanceCoordinate material requests, supplier and plant schedules and established project timelinesSource and provide training for skill set development of the maintenance workforceMust follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all Corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements along with other duties as assigned
