This person is accountable for the safe operation of company aircraft in accordance with company regulations, Federal Aviation Regulations and state and local regulations. Pilots may be assigned as Pilot Flying (PF) or Pilot Monitoring (PM), as well as additional duties as needed. This person will be successful if theyembrace and demonstrate professional behavior consistent with our organizational values and policies and communicates and interacts effectively with management, crew members and local authorities regarding flight operations.The Perdue Hanger is in Salisbury, MD. Pilots must live within an 50 mile radius of this location. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAn Aircraft Pilot may operate an aircraft as pilot in command (PIC) or second in command (SIC), as assigned, being responsible for the operation of that aircraft, including:When operating company aircraft in PIC or SIC seats ensures the following:Compliance with Code of Federal Regulations Title 14, State and local regulations, the aircraft flight manual, and company policiesKnowledge of all available information concerning the flight, including weather conditions, AIRMETS, SIGMETS and any other pertinent information prior to departureFuel and oxygen requirements for the route to be flownCrew possesses all necessary dispatch papers, flight information and aircraft documentationAircraft is operated within weight and balance parameters during all phases of aircraft operationsComplete the flight planning and filing of company flight plansAircraft post-flight inspection is completed after each aircraft landing/engine shutdownCommunicating any aircraft defects to the chief pilot or other responsible partyObserve the flight time/duty time limitations as defined in the company policiesEnsuring that all passengers are briefed in accordance with company requirements outlined in the company policiesEnsuring compliance with customs, immigration and cabotage laws if necessary for a particular flightEnsuring that all post flight administrative duties, including recording flight times, fuel usage, stocking and cleaning aircraftEnsuring aircraft security both at home and away from baseEnsuring crewmembers are thoroughly briefed on the flight prior to departure to include aircraft towing for departure in inclement weather, taxi routs and recovery proceduresConducting a post-flight debrief and the completion (at home base) of a post-flight aircraft maintenance status debriefFlight crews for company aircraft will consists of two qualified and current Pilots. Crews are allowed to swap seats and duties for any assigned trip at the discretion of the company captain when a contract pilot is used. A trip lead will be assigned by the first pilot crewed on the itinerary. The trip lead will be responsible and will be the main point of contact for all aspects of the assigned trip this will includeStatus of trip and any deviations from the scheduleRemain overnight (RONs) on extended tripsProgress of international flightsConduct Aircraft pre-flight inspection before each departureOperating the aircraft in accordance with the FARs, Manufacturer AFM and POH, and Perdue Farms
SOPs and demonstrate excellent CRM in all phases of operationBe responsible for the running of all checklists, normal, abnormal and emergency as requiredConfer with PM regarding traffic, terrain, airspace separation, weather and any other outside influences that may affect the outcome of the flightMinimum Education and ExperienceThe ideal candidate must have:Valid airplane multi engine land commercial pilot certificateValid instrument ratingMinimum of 1500 hours flight time with 400hours Multi Engine, 200 Turbo PropAbility to work in a crew environmentValid first class medical certificateValid PassportAvailability on weekends and holidaysLives within 50 miles radius of Salisbury, MDLegally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictionsExperience PreferredATP Certificate
