Each floor has between 50-60 beds. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. It has a dementia unit, two long term care units and a rehab unit. With 250 beds, each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries and cancer. Fuller Ave. offers various programs for residents to participate in including music therapy, expressive arts and a garden room.About Rehab and Nursing Center CedarThe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center – Cedar was designed with the word “home” in mind. The home is more spacious than the previous 52-year-old Fuller Street facility and boasts many new amenities, including four spacious interior courtyards; a new dining room; on-site dialysis den; art room, private and semiprivate rooms with their own window, restroom and shower; modern furnishings; and new technology, to make these community members feel at home.Scope of work Registered Nurse (RN)Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
