The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to keep our buildings and grounds safe and functional. Monday-Friday- 8am to 4pm

Compensation DOE


Job Responsibilities:


- Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance

- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair

- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs

- Plan and schedule repairs, including coordinating with other departments

- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems to ensure efficient operations

- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order

- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs

- Document and maintain records of inspections, maintenance routines, and repairs

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including moving furniture and equipment

- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations

- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment, and keep supplies organized

- Coordinate with contractors and external service providers for specialized repairs

- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and performance standards

- Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and importance

- Follow guidelines to ensure the security of the building and its occupants during maintenance tasks

- Perform groundskeeping tasks as needed, such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and removing snow.


Job Requirements:


- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience in maintenance work or similar role

- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair

- Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work-related documents

- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools

- Physical stamina and dexterity

- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Attention to detail and organizational skills

- Willingness to work overtime when required

- Valid driver's license

- Compliance with all safety and health regulations

- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments

- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and producing reports

- Availability for on-call emergency repairs outside of normal working hours
