Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.

Additional requirements include:

* Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
* Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
* Current PALS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
* Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date .
* NIHSS Certification obtained withing 90 days after hire date.
* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
* Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Medical Surgical ICU
Teaching hospital with full MD team availability 24/7
24-hour Pharmacy
